CNN Outrages Supporters with Latest Video

BIASED MEDIA (or POOR JUDGMENT) STRIKES AGAIN
Video: Pointed Gestures – Breaking News Videos from CNN

UPDATE: The exact 27 seconds on YouTube here.

CNN broadcasted a clip yesterday (see video above) on “the gestures of politicians”. They use body language experts to lend a bit of credibility and explain why politicians do what they do.

The results: politicians clap, point and smile to appear more personable. However, they add a portion towards the end of the video (2:00) speculating on who the politicians are actually smiling and pointing at.

“Since we can’t actually see who they are pointing at, we’ll just have to use our imagination…”, CNN reporter Jean Moos says.

  • Hillary Clinton –> Monica Lewinsky
  • Barack Obama —> Osama Bin Laden
  • John McCain —> Ann Coultier

Yes, we get it CNN. They are all pointing at people they “hate” and/or have a strained public relationship with.

Except of course, that Barack Obama has no relationship with the leader of Al Qaeda. Moreover, in light of the smear campaign that went on earlier with falsehoods about Barack Obama’s national / religious allegiance and the obvious parallels people try to draw between the two because of the similarity in name, why would you choose to further associate Barack Obama with a terrorist?

Think I’m reaching? CNN specifically picks a moment when the crowd behind the Senator is chanting “Obama! Obama!” to cut away to Osama bin Laden. If that isn’t leading the witness, I’m not sure what is.

Perhaps they felt they needed to counter the fact that one body language expert said Barack Obama “has the most natural smile” (as opposed to Hillary’s overly wide often forced smile).

Any more subliminal messages for voters on the menu today, CNN?

Bringing up Monica Lewinsky is also in poor taste, but even she doesn’t elicit the strong surge of feeling people have when they see the man associated with orchestrating 9/11.
